Shaun Washington, owner of Unique Horse Farm Tours, is a native Lexingtonian who prides himself on providing guests with a tour they will never forget! Shaun is up close and personal with guest. In addition to showing off horse farms Shaun gives visitors a larger view of the Bluegrass. Tours may include a bourbon distillery, Irish Acres Antiques Gallery in Nonesuch, or shopping in quaint Midway. Washington will accommodate guests when he hears they are hungry with a breakfast at Keeneland's Track Kitchen or a sandwich at Wallace Station restaurant.
Shaun learned the business from his long association with Hamburg Place and its owners, Preston and Anita Madden. When celebrities poured into town annually for the Madden's famous Derby Eve party, it was Shaun who drove them around. Guest should be prepared to discover fun facts and inside information from Shaun's knowledge of the horses, people, and land.
